Rose, Lavender and Chamomile Herbal Tea - This is a wonderful tea to wind down with or enjoy after a stressful day. A calming blend of organic chamomile, rose and lavender, each herbal tea comes packaged in a reusable 2 ounce tin.
Rose - Rose - For over 3000 years it has been known as the Queen of the Flowers. The Greeks believed the Rose came from the blood of the goddess Aphrodite. William Penn brought with him 18 rose bushes when he returned to the colonies from England in 1699. John Adams was the first President to plant a Rose bush at the White House.
Lavender - Lavender - is anti-spasmodic, it helps relieve indigestion and is very helpful calming the stomach muscle spasms, it is also very helpful in calming nerves after a stressful day
Chamomile - is useful for hay fever and asthma, it eases tense muscles and relieves irritability, in early Egyptian times chamomile was used to cure the argue, Greek herbalists Dioscrorides and Pliny recommended baths or poultices of chamomile to relieve.
Brewing directions: Use one heaped teaspoon and place in a tea strainer. Infuse in boiling water for 5-7 minutes. Remove the strainer and enjoy, hot or cold. Add Local Raw Honey for a touch of sweetness and additional health benefits, if desired. Honey not included with purchase of tea.
